30 mins from Tohoku Express Line "Shiroishi IC" and JR Tohoku Shinkansen Shiroishi Zao Station, is Miyagi Zao Shiroishi Ski Resort. It is easy to access from the city and various courses from beginners to advanced is offered.
During the season, free shuttle runs on weekends, holidays and Wednesdays. (Reservation required: Shiroishi Ski Resort 0224-24-8111)

There is 8 courses at the resort. Families, winter sports begginers, intermediate and advanced players, everyone can enjoy at this place.

Another attractive points of this ski resort is that it is kids-friendly.
"Kids Park" which is inside center house is a free area for kids to play with sleds.

At restaurants inside the center house, they offer homemade miso soup, curry, Umen in afforable price.
This year they added a new menu "Shiroishi Hot Miso Ramen". Give yourself some spice to warm up your body.
