For history lovers, shrine, and temple lovers, here is a place for you! Visit Shiroishi city and bicycle around one of the famous tourist destinations in Shiroishi. We offer you some special tour course to Shiroishi castle, Katakurake bousho, Kessanji temple. Visit the cemetry of the ancestors of Katakura family who used to own Shiroishi castle, and the four hundread year old Japanese cedar tree, which is said to be the tomb marker for Katakura Kojurou Kagetsuna, to feel the old history of Shiroishi city.
[Bicycle Rental Service]
It is convenient to rent a bicycle for sightseeing in Shiroishi City!
We started offering electric bicycles in August 2023.
Take advantage of this service to go to Kokeshi Village and Kitsune Village, which are difficult to reach on ordinary bicycles!
◯ Rental fees
・Bicycle: 800 yen/day (deposit: 500 yen)
・Electric bicycles: 2,000 yen for half day (4 hours) (deposit: 1,000 yen) *Extension: 200 yen per hour
*Deposit will be refunded when you return the bicycle.
◯Bicycle rental and return locations
・Shiroishi Station (regular train line) *Electric bicycles can only be rented and returned at Shiroishi Station.
・Shiroishi Zao Station (Shinkansen)
・Shiroishi Castle History Museum
◯How to use and instructions
・The rental period is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the rental day.
・Please fill out the application form and show your ID (driver's license, student ID, passport, etc.) when you use the service.
・Users are responsible for any costs arising from accidents, injuries, medical treatment, repair fees for damaged property, etc., compensation to the other party, and other costs during the rental period. Please note that the Association will not be held responsible for any such expenses.
・Helmets are available for lending free of charge. Please let us know if you wish to use one.
