Brewery is located 8 minutes by foot from Shiroishi Station. "Zao Brewery" started its operation since 6th year in the Meiji Era and is the only sake brewery in Shiroishi city. The brewery accepts a factory tour through advance reservation system (usually during the end of December to the end of February). The tour includes watching the huge stocking tank, fermenting of unrefined sake, manufacturing machines, and many others that explains the process of creating a delicious sake. With having this experience, it will guarantee you to enjoy sake's taste more. Along with this tour, you will also be able to enjoy selling tasting sake and grab one bottle as a souvenir!
