[First Floor] History of Shiroishi Castle, the Lord of the Castle, and the Katakura Family
Shiroishi Castle was indispensable in the turning point of Japan's history. On the first floor, there are panels and other exhibits where visitors can learn about the history of Shiroishi Castle and the changes in the castle's lords. Also, Shiroishi Castle is synonymous with the Katakura family. Visitors can learn about the successive heads of the Katakura family, the Osaka Summer Battle, and its relationship with Sanada.

On the first floor, visitors can experience Shiroishi Castle as it was in the Edo period. Pose for pictures as a samurai in those days at the stone gate, narrow passageway, and lattice window.
