Here, we introduce Shiroishi City's two major popular
spots. The first location, Jinseki Shiroishi, is located
10 minutes by foot from Shiroishi Station. The root of
the big stone, which this area was named after, is belived to spread its root from
Shiroishi City to Nenoshiroi located in the
Izumi Ward in Sendai city. Just like the two rocks are
connected over a distant area, it is said that
if you pray with good will and faith at Jinseki Shiroishi,
your prayer will be fulfilled. Lets buy "Koyori" at
Shiroishi Station information center and go to
Jinseki Shiroishi for a good-hearted prayer.
The second location, Manzo Inari Shrine, is located 30 minutes from Shiroishi Station via car.
The scenery of hundreds of tori-i gates is similar to the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. Here, many people visit for good luck of bussiness, harvesting, marrige and safe delivery.
