Watch unique Tohoku Noh Performance at “Hekisuien” theater!

The theater is located 15 minutes on foot from JR Shiroishi Station. On the 7th of January, a stage purification custom is carried out at "Koten geino densho no yakata Hekisuien", which includes a tea room, at the only Noh theater in Tohoku. Around 80 people from about 12 city groups who practice traditional performing arts such as poetry and instruments join together and perform on stage. Not only adults perform in Noh, but children are also included in performances.
